Halloween was almost like Christmas this year. We had numerous parties and the kids collected candy as well as toys at Grandma's house. Liam has outgrown the "cute" costume phase and decided to be something scary this year. Lila was all about pink and actually had more than 1 costume....both pink though. Halloween is definitely a close 2nd to Christmas.

Breakfast Nook
Here are the rest of the professional photographs taken of my new kitchen nook. I think my friend, Caitlin, did a great job helping me coordinate everything. Again, I have to post these so I can remember what the space looks like when it is actually clean.....which doesn't happen very often with little kids in the house.

Bohemian with a Modern Twist
So there is a designer in our neighborhood that helped me make some changes to our living room. She recently had her friend that is a professional photographer come over to take some pictures for her blog and portfolio. I like to look at these and pretend that this is really what my house looks like day to day......and then I come back to reality and appreciate the 2 seconds it is like this after it gets cleaned and before the kids decide they want to hang out in the living room and stomp on the pillows and eat crackers!

San Francisco Trip
Here are a few highlights from our 4th of July trip to San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge Park was probably our favorite place. There is a nice walkway and bridge in the Japanese Gardens that are located within the park.
One day we unexpectedly found a children's museum located behind these nice columns and gardens.
Also while visiting the Golden Gate Bridge Park we came upon an outdoor 4th of July concert. Liam had to stop for food at this point.
The park also has a museum which had a Picasso exhibit that was going on at the time.
I swear this park has everything, even a pavilion just for us in the Natural History Museum section!
We couldn't leave without taking a walk on the Golden Gate Bridge.
